Keputusan untuk melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi atau tidak, harus diputuskan di tahap ini. Materi bahasa inggris sma kelas 12 dipastikan akan menjadi komplilasi dari semua yang telah diajarkan juga ditambah dengan ilmu-ilmu baru dan wawasan yang harus dijelajah oleh siswa kelas 3 sma. Segala jenis ekspresi dalam pelafalan, dan juga menuliskannya dengan baik dan benar akan menjadi nilai penting. Semua soal latihan yang ada semoga dapat membatu kelancaran belajar mengajar. Seperti yang saya telah ucapkan jauh sebelumnya, dengan memulai belajar dan membaca, jendela ilmu dan dunia akan terbuka lebar. Segala bentuk usaha yang telah dilakukan baik dari hiburan dan pelajaran tambahan seperti les atau ekstrakulikuler seharusnya dapat dilihat hasilnya. Jangan salahkan siswa jika ternyata ada sedikit atau banyak kegagalan. Tugas guru, orang tua dan pembimbing berperan besar dalam hal ini. Adakan pertemuan antara orangtua, murid, dan guru.
Karena ini menyangkut masa depan. Para siswa dihadapkan dengan soal-soal lisan dan tulisan, dan diharapka sudah dapat membedakan penggunaan kosa kata dan pola kalimat. Penggunan kata seperti those dan that, juga serangkaian kata yag nampak sama tapi sebeneranya berbeda dalam penggunaannya. Pembubuhan huruf ’S” di tiap kata juga mempengaruhi struktur kalimat. Bisa-bisa artiannya akan berbeda atau dalam hal akademis meski sebenarnya tidak terlalu salah tapi menyebabkan pengurangan nilai. LEbih jelasnya bisa dipelajari disini
